"Project Alice: Resident Evil: Tim Burtonesque" 12-20-13. Black ink and red marker on paper. I drew Milla Jovovich's character, Alice, in Tim Burton's style. This is one of the Alice clones from Resident Evil: Afterlife.
"A Woman's Silence" 10-04-13. Black ink on paper. I drew a battered woman suffering in silence. There is hope for her and all victims of abuse/violence. It is similar to the Anima Sola, minus the flames. The tear turns into a dark shadow, silence. I drew it with much empathy and hope to end violence against women.
"Jason K." 08-08-13. Pencil on paper. I drew Jason Kennedy, E! News anchorman.
"Disconnected Heart" 08-13-13. Black ink on paper. I drew a heart that is disconnected. A symbolic piece.
"Borderline Personality Disorder" 11-04-11. Black ink on paper with red colored pencil. I drew some of the symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder. I was inspired to draw someone with BPD as I had taken a course in Abnormal Psychology and was interested in personality disorders.
"Fishes" Fall 2011. Prisma colored pencils on colored paper. For an assignment in a drawing class for non-majors, I had to draw three different shapes, in three different colors, and three different sizes. I drew fishes, jelly fish, and spheres. I used the colors yellow, green, and blue. The sizes are small, medium, and large. The sea creatures are composed of patterns.
"Butterfly" Fall 2011. Prisma colored pencils on colored paper. I had to draw an animal for a drawing for non-majors class. I drew a red/pink butterfly on a blue flower.
"Hummingbird" Fall 2011. Prisma colored pencils on colored paper. For a drawing for non-majors class I had to draw an animal. I drew a hummingbird and flowers. The hummingbird consists of hot/warm colors as the flowers are cold/cool colors.
 "Gymnast" Fall 2011. Prisma colored pencils on colored paper. I had to draw the human figure for a drawing for non-majors class. I drew a male gymnast. I used green colors.

"Jason L." 08-20-11. Pencil on paper. I drew my friend.
"Jorge A. Carrillo R.I.P." 08-03-11. Pencil on paper. I drew a picture of my older brother that passed away. He seems sad. He was not ready to leave yet, with so many unfinished goals.
"A Tree Lost A Branch." 06-17-11. Black ink on paper with marker. A symbolic drawing. A woman in black, dressed in sorrow picks the apple of her eyes up from the ground. The branch the apple was on broke away from the tree from which it came from. This I drew after my brother's death.
"Angel of Silence." 04-25-11. Pencil on paper. I drew an angel that brought destruction as it sang. Above the angel it says: "When the angel of Silence sings, the world will end..."
"April Fools." 04-01-11. Pencil on paper. A creepy small person as a clown jester. I drew it on April Fool's Day.
"Injecting Religion." 03-30-11. Pencil on paper with maker and colored pencil. I drew a symbolic picture of religion as an institution. Some people die for religion, others are forced upon it, some accept it without complaint, and others seek it. That is what each person symbolizes going counterclockwise. Above there is a Karl Marx quote on religion.
"Female Killers (Mujeres Asesinas)." 03-25-11. Pencil on paper with red watercolor, marker, and colored pencil. I drew famous actresses starring in an imaginary adaptation of the hit show in Spanish (in Mexico and South America) about women that kill. Each woman kills for a different reason. Some use it as an escape from their abusive realities and others use it as a form of power. The Spanish shows are adapted from author Marisa Grinstein, who wrote about "Killer Women" from Argentina. In "Female Killers", I drew it starring Salma Hayek, Drew Barrymore, Milla Jovovich, Helen Mirren, Monica Bellucci, and Rose McGowan (top left to right; bottom left to right).
"A Tribute to David." 03-23-11. Pencil on paper. I drew a picture of my friend that passed away and I miss always. David C. Zimmerman. I wrote: "The brightest star in the heavens." Miss my best friend.
"Betito." 01-03-09. Pencil on paper. I drew my brother Jorge as he was when he was about 4 years old. I drew my brother as a child and gave it to him on his birthday in the year 2009 (02-10-09). When he died, his widow kept the picture.
"My Grandmother." 01-03-09. Pencil on paper. My grandmother Maria Ayala, my mom's mother.

"In Memory of Rudy Velasco." 01-04-09. Pencil on paper. I drew a pic of Rudy Velasco. Hector and Nancy's brother that passed away. RIP.


"Thank You God and Virgin of Guadalupe." 12-2008. Pencil on paper. I drew a drawing to thank God and the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe for everything they have done for me. I thank them most of all for the three surgeries I've had on my foot (a personal story). Lots of symbolism there. The tree, symbolizes life and family. The water symbolizes life and an obstacle from Mexico to Fort Wayne. The bottom has a scroll which is me thanking them in Spanish. I'm so blessed and thankful for everything.

"Ganymede and Zeus." 07-20-08. Pencil on paper. I drew a scene from the mythos of Ganymede and Zeus. Ganymede was a beautiful or handsome youth from Troy. Zeus fell for him and sent his eagle or some say he as an eagle went down and abducted the youth so he could serve Zeus as a lover and cup bearer in Mt. Olympus, home of the gods.
"The Lone Mermaid." 06-27-08. Pencil on paper. I drew a mermaid, inspired by "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen and Moby's song "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die." A lonely mermaid waiting for love and with a knife in her hand. She thinks about waiting for her love a bit longer or killing herself.
"Drown." 06-27-08. Pencil on paper. I drew a man drowning in the dark, deep waters of the ocean.
"Mermaid of Pride." 07-28-07. Pencil on paper. I like mermaids. So I drew one.

"The Bloody Wall." 02-06-07. Pencil and red watercolor on paper. A political piece. My protest against this wall on the southern border of the United States. I also include the Minute Men killing those who jump the wall searching for freedom. The point is to not have a wall and no people killing innocent people. The focus is on the human element of the issue. Barriers and limits are conventions that restrict personal achievements and dreams.

 "Winona Ryder." Pencil on paper. I drew the actress. I love her work.


"Rest In Peace Josh Robbins." 07-25-08. Pencil on paper. I drew a high school classmate of mine that died young.
"Vin Diesel." Pencil on paper. I drew Vin Diesel for my sister. She loves him.


"Sun God or Lo Hice En Un Dios." Pencil on paper. I drew this for a friend of mine who likes this guy, who was in one of my classes in high school, and I thought of as a friend. The guy in the drawing is a sun god, and adored. Plus in reality the guy has a sun tatoo, so "I made him a god/deity." That's the spanish saying, "Lo hice en un dios." Symbolic drawing.

 "Angel of Purgatory." Pencil on paper. I drew myself as an angel in Purgatory.
"Anahi." Acrylic paint on paper. I drew Anahi, my favorite RBD member.
"Rebelde." Acrylic paint on paper. I painted the band members of RBD in their Elite Way School uniforms.
"The Bride Will Kill Bill." Acrylic paint on paper. Drew The Bride pointing her gun at Bill.
"Gael Garcia Bernal." Acrylic paint on paper. I painted the Mexican actor.
"Gael Garcia Bernal." Pencil on paper. Another GGB picture.
"Gael Garcia Bernal." Pencil on paper. I drew Gael as it was out of a magazine that I saw this picture. I drew this for an art project in high school, profile view.
"Salma Hayek." Acrylic paint on paper. I painted Mexican actress Salma Hayek. I love her work.
"Santanico Pandemonium." Colored pastels on paper. I drew Salma Hayek as the vampire queen from the film From Dusk Till Dawn.
"The Two Juans." 06-19-04. Watercolor on paper. I drew two sides of me based on Frida Kahlo's painting. Symbolic picture.
"A Cry." 09-19-04. Pencil on paper with watercolor. A man screams trying to deal with his identity. He is bound in the chains society provides and thorns which represent the pain of sacrificing happiness for an identity based on pretense.
"Witch" or "Exile." 09-17-04. Watercolor and pencil on paper. I drew a witch representing the scapegoat which society likes to blame the faults on. Witch hunts? Symbolic.
"Te Lo Corte, Maldito." 08-05-04. Watercolor on paper. A bloody castration as a result of a cheating lover. In spanish: "Te recordaras de mi" is written which translates to "You'll remember me."
"Jesus." 07-17-04. Pencil on paper. I drew Jesus Christ. Inspiring a message of love.
"Red Scorpion (color)." 07-14-04. Colored pencil on paper. I drew my comic character female assassin, Red Scorpion.
"Self Portrait With Colors." 06-14-04. Watercolor on paper. A self portrait.
"Holocaust Victim" or "Prisoner." 10th Grade. Pencil and watercolor on paper. I drew a Jewish prisoner during WWII enduring pain in a concentration or work camp.
"My Baby Shot Me Down." 10th Grade. Pencil and watercolor on paper. Inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. I drew The Bride shot down by her lover. It is a life changing moment for after awaking from a coma, she goes looking for answers. I channeled and drew the pain of being shot down by a lover.
"Bang." 10th Grade. Pencil and watercolor on paper. A man in the bath tub dying, he was shot.
"Alone As Always." Pencil and watercolor on paper. 10th grade. A person down and feeling pain. Emotional pain. Symbolic.
"Lost Soul." 9th-10th Grade. Pencil and watercolor on paper. The picture represents heartache.
"Lust." 9th Grade. Pencil on paper. A vampire or succubus takes a man against his will.
"Abortion." 9th Grade. Pencil on paper. Symbolic drawing on abortion.
"Hadrian and Antinous." 8th Grade. Pencil on paper. Roman Emperor Hadrian and his Egyptian lover Antinous who dies in the Nile River. Hadrian becomes a drunk as an old man. A love that was short.
"Icarus." 8th Grade. Pencil on paper. An angel falling to Hell. Or Icarus falling after his wings are clipped so to speak.
"Eva." 8th Grade. Pencil on paper. Eve betrays Adam and embraces the dark side. Adam cries by the tree as God's wrath is known.
"Divine Suffering." 8th Grade. Pencil on paper. The Virgin Mary mourns the death of her son, Jesus Christ. Listening to Moby's "My Weakness" inspired me.
"Why?" 8th Grade. Colored pencil on paper. The man in pain makes a choice which leads to salvation. The Virgin Mary comes to his aid. Symbolic.
"Hail Mary." 8th Grade. Colored pencil and marker on paper. The Virgin Mary and the Hail Mary prayer.
"Blue Eyez." 8th Grade. Colored pencil and marker on paper. I drew a blue eye with a poem. My nickname starting in middle school was Blue Eyez.
"The Mirror." 8th Grade. Pencil on paper. A boy stares at a mirror only to find the reflection of a girl. Symbolic. Could be a boy feeling like a girl or a girl trapped in a boy's body.
"Floating." 8th grade. Colored pencil, pastels, marker on paper. A woman floating in the air, dancing.
"Juno." 8th Grade. Colored pencil on paper. A symbolic picture of the Roman goddess Juno.
"Cemetery." 2004. Pencil on paper. A early drawing of a cemetery.
"Dreams." Colored pencil on paper. Symbolic picture of dreams floating in space to dreamers.
"Frida Kahlo." Oil on canvas tablet. I painted Frida Kahlo, my favorite artist.
"Alejandra G." Oil on canvas tablet. I painted this picture of Alejandra Guttierez. She was a little girl that went missing for days in Fort Wayne. She was later found outside of town. She was murdered. I gave this painting to her parents. May she rest in peace.
"Aztec Love." Oil on canvas. I gave this painting to Ms. Heiges. It's based on an old iconic Mexican image of an Aztec warrior saving a woman. In this case, the Aztec warrior pulls his dead male lover out of the river.
"Enter The Vampire." Oil on canvas. A male vampire and his male victim.
"El Toro." Watercolor on paper. Showing the brutality of bull fighting. Poor bulls.
"Night and Day." Oil on canvas. Symbolic painting. Good and evil, day and night, brunette and blonde. They fight for the apple which represents life.
"Dia de los Muertos." Oil on canvas tablet. The dead celebrate and dance. Death appears to be not the end of it all.
"Battle For Athens." Oil on canvas. Athena and Poseidon battle to be the patron of Athens.
"Angel of Love." Oil on canvas. Psyche and Eros. Love and the soul.
"God Loves You." Oil on canvas. An angel saving a sinner from Hell and taking them to Heaven. The sinner suffered enough.
"An Angel of God." Oil on canvas. Classical inspired. An angel acts as a messenger to save the person from the flames of Hell. The person holds a flower as a token of gratitude.
"Love's Lost." Oil on canvas. A man burns in Hell for his forbidden love. The flower through the hand symbolizes forbidden love. He points to Heaven's light, where he wishes he could go.
"La Llorona." Oil on canvas. The demonic weeping woman haunts the dark forest looking for a victim. The Mexican legend of a ghoul that drowned her children and can't enter Heaven until she finds them.
"Lilian." Oil on canvas. A night demon haunts the night. The night cries for its child.
"Lilith, the Queen." Oil on canvas. Lilith, in mythology is the first woman that decided to leave Adam. Eve then is the second woman. Lilith here is queen of the night.
"Jesus in the Garden." Oil on canvas. Jesus prays before be is arrested to later be crucified. He is in the darkness and prays to God. As he prays, bloody sweat drips. He knows he is going to die, but to save all of humanity. I gave this painting to my godmother, Lila Olivas.
"Self Portrait in Flames." Oil on canvas. I painted myself in a lake of fire. Purgatory or Hell? Waiting.. I painted this portrait while I was in middle school.
"Eva." Oil on canvas. The painting of a drawing. Eve embraces the darkness.
"Death and the Flower." Oil on canvas. Death and a red flower. Symbolic.
"Flowers For My Mother." Oil on canvas. My mother doesn't like my style, she asked me to paint flowers. I did, with my style. There's a skull and blood on the table.
"The Lighthouse." Oil on canvas. I painted a lighthouse on the beach at night. I used red with tints and shades as well.
"Jeremy C." Oil on canvas. I painted a guy I knew in high school.
"Frida." Oil on canvas. My first Frida Kahlo painting. A very early painting.
"The Lady and the Dragon." Oil on canvas. My first painting ever. I did well, I think. A symbolic painting. A woman faces a dragon in battle. The dragon offers her a new life but she declines to accept the evil lies of the dragon. Very Middle Ages inspired.
